901discounts ("we," "us") operates the 901discounts mobile app for consumers and the merchant dashboard at dashboard.901discounts.com. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. 901discounts is an advertising platform for local deals in the Memphis, Tennessee area — we never process payments between consumers and merchants.

Information we collect

Account information. When you create an account, we collect your email address and a password (stored in hashed form by our authentication provider). Merchants additionally provide business information: business name, category, address, and phone number.

Redemption activity. When you redeem a deal, we record which deal was redeemed, when, and the redemption method (in-store or online). Each deal can be redeemed once per account; we store a record to enforce this.

Location (optional). If you grant location permission, we use your device's location at the moment of redemption solely to confirm proximity to the store. Location access is optional — redemption works without it — and we do not track your location in the background or store a location history.

Usage information. We collect basic usage data such as deal views and clicks, and standard technical information (device type, app version) needed to operate and improve the service.

How we use information

• To operate the app: show deals, verify redemptions, and enforce one-redemption-per-deal limits
• To operate merchant accounts: approvals, deal management, analytics dashboards, and billing status
• To provide aggregate analytics to merchants (views, clicks, redemption counts) — merchants do not receive your name, email, or identity
• To communicate with you about your account or support requests
• To maintain security and prevent fraud or abuse

What we don't do

• We do not sell your personal information
• We do not share your identity with merchants — redemptions appear to merchants as anonymous, verified events
• We do not process or store consumer payment information — you pay merchants directly, as you always have
• We do not show third-party ads or share your data with advertisers

Service providers

We use trusted service providers to run the platform: Google Firebase (authentication, database, hosting, and cloud functions) and, for merchant subscription billing only, Stripe. Merchant payment card details are provided directly to Stripe and are never stored on our servers. These providers process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments.

Data retention and deletion

We retain account and redemption records while your account is active and as needed to operate the service. You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time by emailing support@901discounts.com from the email on your account. We will delete or de-identify your personal information, except records we are required to keep (for example, merchant billing and agreement records).

Children

901discounts is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), server-side verification of redemptions, and access rules that restrict data to its owner. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your data appropriately.

Your choices

• Location: grant or revoke location permission at any time in your device settings — the app continues to work either way
• Account deletion: email support@901discounts.com to delete your account and data
• Communications: we send only service-related emails, not marketing lists you can't leave

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app or by email. Continued use of the service after changes means you accept the updated policy.
